Unconventional Zin Blend 43% Zinfandel, 35% Cabernet, 22% Petite Sirah

Nose: It's been a long time since I’ve said this but this is a WOW nose!! Velvet texture to the bouquet exploding with red and blackberry fruit. Cherry, raspberry, and black currants dancing with spice. 

Palate: A Big wine.  Much bigger than previous vintages due to the upgrade in the Cabernet Vineyard.  Concentrated red berry fruit that leads with bright raspberry and cranberry and turns to black currant.  A silky mouthfeel laced with pepper & spice builds to a sizable tannic structure that lingers with a velvet texture. The finish is a dusty rose and toasted oak lingering daydream….Think BBQ ribs and ribeyes!!
